I am the youngest of three sons, born and raised in Arizona. Having older brothers meant always playing and competing against a bigger, faster, and stronger opponent, so I was naturally an outstanding athlete among my peers. At age 11, I started playing competitive golf and, right from the start, I was fully committed. Being born and raised in Arizona, the weather allowed me to often times play seven days a week, and always year round.

Unlike other sports, golf places complete responsibility on the individual, and scoring as a team presents even more pressure for a top player. Every thought, every decision and outcome, is on me. It's this accountability that I enjoy most about the game, and what continues to motivate me to improve. Each round presents a new challenge-each course, condition, and situation demands focus, discipline and adaptability. The constant pursuit of improvement drives my passion for golf.

I believe the mental aspect is what separates good players from great ones. It is an area I am deeply interested in developing within myself, and for others. Competing in college golf would be a critical step in my journey, exposing me to college competition, the next stage of player development, and building credibility and trust with the team.
