I am the youngest of three sons, born and raised in Arizona. Having older brothers meant always playing and competing against a bigger, faster, and stronger opponent, so I was naturally an outstanding athlete among my peers. At age 11, I started playing competitive golf and, right from the start, I was fully committed. Arizona weather allows me to play seven days a week, year round.

Unlike other sports, golf places complete responsibility on the individual, and scoring as a team presents even more pressure for a top player. Every thought, every decision and outcome, is on me. It's this accountability that I enjoy most about the game, and what continues to motivate me to improve and drives my passion for the game of golf.

Looking beyond college, my long-term goal is to become a high-level golf instructor, with a strong emphasis on the mental side of the game. I believe the mental aspect is what separates good players from great ones. It is an area I am deeply interested in developing within myself, and for others. Competing in college golf would be a critical step in my career goals and aspirations.
